Man Charged in Shabbat Disruption and Two Incidents Outside Central Synagogue
On August 17, a man was charged for disrupting a Shabbat service and involved in two incidents outside the Central Synagogue. Additionally, a manicenter experienced trouble when an individual attacked a synagogue security member and a nearby man was critically injured by a knife-wielding suspect during an altercation. Police responded to the latter incident, using Taser and multiple shots before apprehending the suspect. No serious injuries were reported at the synagogue, and the investigation into the manicenter incident remains ongoing.
