Unlike most video game trailers, the almost 27-minute preview of GTA VI felt more like a slice of a prestige crime drama than any video game trailer that I’ve ever seen. To make a new game that lasts another decade or more and potentially rivals the success of its predecessor, Rockstar is clearly trying to further blur the lines between Hollywood and video games.

    Later today, Netflix will stream a live event with Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive, the developer and publisher of the highly anticipated video game Grand Theft Auto VI. Called Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, it’s the third official trailer for the game, which releases on November 19.

A person or organization calling themself “CyberLeek” has claimed responsibility for the leaks, which have been used in part to promote a cryptocurrency. Publisher Take-Two Interactive has requested to be able to subpoena Microsoft and Discord over the copyright-infringing content in the hope of identifying the source of the leaks.
