Los Angeles County Judge John Lonergan Jr. sent Jeanine John Taele, 38, to a mental health court in Hollywood based on statements he made in a pretrial evaluation indicating he wasn’t mentally fit to stand trial. In the evaluation, Taele falsely insisted he had been a State Department official for 14 years.

This week, Los Angeles County Judge John Lonergan Jr. suspended the criminal proceedings, sending Taele’s case to a mental health court after the plaintiff’s attorney said his client was not able to understand or participate in his defense. Lonergan transferred proceedings to Hollywood Mental Health Court based on statements Taele made in a pretrial evaluation that the judge said indicated he wasn’t mentally fit to stand trial.

The judge suspended criminal proceedings after a pretrial evaluation indicated Taele was not mentally fit to stand trial and sent the case to a mental health court, the AP reported.

Lonergan expressed particular concern over the 200 pages of Taele’s writings that investigators found following his arrest. The writings included schedules for first lady Melania Trump and members of the president’s Secret Service, as well as detailed lists for surviving “off the grid.” The judge did not say whether the writings included any specific political motives or ideologies.

The New York Post reported that prosecutors said Taele had seven notebooks containing 208 pages of drawings and sketches of Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes, lists of USSS schedules, details about individual security personnel and copies of Melania Trump's schedule.

Philan-Tam-Duy Le, a 35-year-old from California, was arrested Tuesday after he illegally parked across the street from the U.S. Supreme Court with a wooden guillotine on the back of his pickup truck.

“According to Capitol Police, the suspect drove the truck all the way from California, and they are examining his background to determine why he came to Washington, D.C.,” reports Forbes. He was arrested for “Carrying a Dangerous Weapon for being in possession of the guillotine.”

The suspect’s brother told the Los Angeles Times that the guillotine was probably a “symbol of disapproval” and that Le was generally happy about the state of American politics and disliked both Donald Trump and California Governor Gavin Newsom. The suspect’s brother, Kelvin Le, described his brother as a free spirit who funded his travels around the country by working as a tattoo artist and doing piercings.
